I know I have been mentioning Masters and school work, but you know what, I am almost there. I got 1 year left but give or take 2 or 3 months and I will be done. Mind you I have been at it part-time with 3 courses a year, but I work full time and I don’t want my life to be completely focused on two things only. I like to exercise my hobbies and have fun.

I noticed that many people are liking my PHP tutorials and downloading zip files.  That’s so nice! I will try to make more, especially advanced ones.  It’s hard for me because I have been programming for many years, that I don’t know what basic is anymore. I learned HTML and made my first website when I was 16! That’s many years ago at the beginning of the home based internet!  Remember 486 computers? Windows 95? Dial-up modems? That seems like ancient history now in our crazy fast world! So, my dilemma is that I don’t know people’s level with basic HTML, and I try to explain PHP, but if you don’t know at least HTML markup, then why are you bothering with PHP? Let’s not even discuss JavaScript and CSS.  Honestly, if you want to be a backend or front-end web application developer (PHP or ASP.net), but you don’t know HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, then find something else to do.  The web is a totally different ballgame than your other programming languages like Java, C, C++, etc.

That’s just my two cents. know I have been a sporadic blogger, but I am busy doing so many other things and monitoring/adding new content to other websites I run.
